Dr. Diaa Eldin Elshikha, University of Arizona Assistant Professor and Irrigation Specialist, is hosting a soil sensor workshop in Maricopa, AZ at the Maricopa Agricultural Center (37860 W. Smith Enke Rd.) on February 27, 2025. Speakers include local farmers with direct experience using the technology, industry professionals representing the biggest soil moisture sensor companies. scientists from the USDA-ARS, and engineering professors from the University of Arizona. Coffee, donuts, and lunch will be provided.  5 CCA credits (Soil & Water Management: 3, Sustainability: 1, Precision Ag: 1) have been approved.
