Tanimura & Antle
Mike Antle currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Tanimura & Antle. He was one of the original founders of Tanimura & Antle when the company first opened its doors in 1982. Starting as a Harvest Supervisor, Mike and his family followed the harvest season migrating between Yuma and Salinas for ten years helping to set the foundation for what Tanimura & Antle is today. Throughout his years of service, he has been instrumental in the company’s agricultural management. He has also been a Champion of Tanimura & Antle's employees, promoting among other things, a scholarship program, the Child Development Center, and second-to-none employee benefits, pay, and working conditions. Mike has served on numerous boards including Monterey County Agricultural Education, Lyceum and the Competitive Clusters Project of the Monterey Business Council, and the Monterey County General Plan. Additionally, he served as the Chairman of the Grower Shipper Association and has been honored by Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay which inducted him into its 2005 Monterey Bay Business Hall of Fame. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Horticultural Food Crop Production.
